2600 Shri Sambuddathwa Jayanthiya Celebration
A Religious function was held at MRI on 11th of May 2011 to mark the 2600 years of enlightenment of Lord Buddha. Shri Sambuddha Jayanthi Buddha Statue was unveiled at the occasion. Senior Minister of technology Prof.Thissa Vithatra hoist the occasion as the chief guest. Director of MRI, former directors, consultants, and all staff members participated the celebration of Shri Sambudda Jayanthiya.
