- Appointment of two PG trainees for LIMS project at MRI- 2010
- An attempt of Piloting a MLIMS-2011
- Appointment of MO-HI to MRI- June 2011
- Start of playing National Anthem at 8.30 am each working day as requested by HIMU-2013
- Obtained a position to represent Medical Officers at the management committee of MRI-2014
- KOHA LibIMS at MRI ceremonially opened by Minister of Health Mr. Maithreepala Sirisena on 14.03.2014
- The sudden network failure occurred causing total loss of internet to the network was successfully restored after heavy hard work by the HIMU team while three dominant companies failed to correct the fault- 2015
- Most of the internet issues were solved by installation of a hardware firewall which is obtained with a lot of effort after convincing the authority with the support of a consultant-2018
- Air conditioning system of the server room was restored after five months of period and servers were recovered with lot of effort since those were shutdown for the same period-( June 2018).
- The UPS system was repaired and restored the proper power backup after four months of system shutdown and system customisation and deployment were started in Aug 2019
- Successfully launched the new MRI Website on 17th September 2019-International Patient Safety Day
- Successfully piloted the Medical Laboratory information & Management System on 18.03.2020 at the Department of Haematology with the support of the consultant Haematologist Dr Rohini Warusahennadi.
