Available Staff categories at MRI

Administrative category – ( Director, Deputy Director, Administrative officer etc…)
Consultant /Medical Scientists  in the fields of Virology, Bacteriology, Mycology, Parasitology, Hematology, Histo-pathology, Chemical Pathology, Immunology, Pharmacology, Nutrition, Veterinary Science, Entomology
Medical Officers in the above fields  and also  Health Information, Planning, Quality Improvement
Research Officers at disciplines of Virology, Bacteriology, Mycology, Parasitology, Haematology, Histopathology, Chemical Pathology, Immunology, Pharmacology, Nutrition and Molecular Biology
Public Health Inspectors at disciplines of Nutrition
Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs)
Entomology Field  assistants in the field of Entomology
Clerical staff
Lab-orderly and Office work assistants etc

In any above categories, staff will be recruited according to the government recruitment criteria which will be published in the  government gazettes of  Sri Lanka from time to time and MRI does not have any capacity to recruit any of the above categories directly .
